I wore a very similar outfit to work a couple days ago.  Someone complimented me so I decided to share it with you.  The secret of this outfit are the pink tights.  It is my belief that an all-black outfit is always more fun with a pop of colour.
I bought a very nice black wool pencil skirt two weeks ago.  I have pencil skirts in many colours but for some reason I had never bought a black one! If you ever buy a pencil skirt, make sure it is lined - or wear a simple silky half slip underneath.  I know that the half slip sounds very old-fashioned but trust me, it makes the world's difference.  You will thank me later.  - Marie Trepanier
